Eugowra Rural Transaction Centre

About us.

The Eugowra Rural Transaction Centre is community owned and operated, offering services from Australia Post, Reliance Bank and Services Australia.

Our Rural Transaction Centre is the first of it’s kind in Australia and was opened by The Honorable John Howard MP on 29th October 1999.

The building and business is owned and operated by Eugowra Promotion & Progress Association (EPPA) on behalf of the Eugowra community and is managed through the RTC Committee.

When it first opened in 1999, the RTC offered banking services through Reliance Bank and an online access point for Centrelink and Medicare. Australia Post services were transferred to the RTC in 2013 after the local post office was sold. We are proud to continue to offer all of these services to the Eugowra community.

A little about Eugowra Promotion & Progress Association (EPPA)…

The Association is made up of community members who are wanting to be involved in community projects in Eugowra. We manage the RTC and EPPA holds a monthly general meeting on the second Tuesday of each month and always welcomes new members.

The current EPPA Executive is Sean Haynes (president), Dave Herbert (secretary), Kim Storey (treasurer), Kevin Townsend (vice president) & Brendan Mansbridge (vice president).

If you would like to know more about what EPPA does or become involved in the RTC Committee, the Museum Committee or Murals Committee or if you are interested in becoming more involved in community projects in general, please come along to our meeting. We would love to see you there!

Please email Dave Herbert at secretary@visiteugowra.com.au for any questions, feedback, suggestions of projects EPPA can work on or for current details on meeting times and location.
