The Eugowra RTC is a community owned and operated business operating a Reliance Bank and Australia Post agency. The RTC also provides access to Services Australia.
Customer Service Officer - 12 month contract
The Eugowra RTC is looking for a dedicated person to fulfill the role of Customer Service Officer. As the Customer Service Officer, you will be the ‘face’ of the RTC, providing exceptional customer service to your customer network. You will enjoy developing and maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external customers, by providing advice and information on products and services offered through the RTC. Further, you will relish the opportunity to achieve targets and work as part of collaborative team.
Key responsibilities will consist of:
Teller duties including general enquiries, account opening/closing, deposits, withdrawals.
Assist in the sorting of mail and parcels.
Managing high value transaction accurately – which includes handling, balancing and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS.
Promoting Reliance Bank and Australia Post products and services through up-selling and cross-selling.
Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costs.
Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking, ordering stock and record maintenance.
Assist Services Australia customers.
Requirements:
Previous customer service experience and or cash handling, desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to go above and beyond for your customers and colleagues.
Driven to take a personalised approach with every customer interaction.
"Can do" approach to all aspects of your role.
Ability to learn and confidently use a number of technical financial systems.
Lift up to 16kg of mail repeatedly and able to stand up for most of your shift.
Award Rates
This position is for permanent/part time for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
